XGS Charity

Following a resolution that was approved at the 2010 AGM, the board has been working to identify a suitable charity for XGS to support. After looking at several charities it was unanimously approved at the last board meeting to adopt CP Saplings as the charity that XGS will support.

CP Saplings of Xiamen

CP Sapling of Xiamen, which was founded two years ago in Xiamen, is a non-profit charity organization dedicated to helping families with disabled children. They provide an activity center, adult care and play group and home visits to the families. CP Sapling has been striving to seek to decrease abandonment of children with disabilities by partnering with families with children with disabilities

XGS support will consist of the RMB30 Outing fee that we all pay for each event along with other fund raisers that will be launched in the future.

In the accounts we have "saved" for this around RMB23800 and this will be an initial donation to fund an agreed list of equipment that their center needs. We will also make an on-going monthly donation of around RMB1800 from the “Outing Fee” of 30 RMB to support needs of the children.
